From Boyhood to an International Independent Scholar: A Photographic Archive is not an ordinary photo collection, nor is it a conventional autobiography. Rather, it is a visual, documentary, and historical archive spanning nearly four decades of personal growth and lived experience.

Based on authentic photographs, historical documents, personal manuscripts, publications, records of cultural activities, and related archival materials from 1989 to 2026, the book is systematically organised in chronological order. It comprehensively documents the author's long journey—from his boyhood in China, through studying in Australia, entrepreneurial practice, cultural engagement, systems innovation, and martial arts inheritance, to his development as an International Independent Scholar.

Preserving the Present, Leaving a Permanent Record for the Future

The Epochal Transition (ISSN 3083-5178) is an independently created and continuously published ten-language research journal founded and edited by Jeffi Chao Hui Wu, an Australian-based International Independent Scholar.

The journal documents and preserves four decades of firsthand experience (1986–2026), bringing together Chinese Australian history, migration experience, multidisciplinary research, systems innovation, cultural heritage, martial arts inheritance, and observations from the transition between the pre-AI era and the age of artificial intelligence.

Since its establishment, The Epochal Transition has published twelve main issues together with numerous companion publications. Across all ten-language editions, the project now comprises more than 10 million published words, over 10,000 A4 pages, and more than 80 DOI-registered publications, forming one of the most comprehensive independently created multilingual documentary collections developed by a single author.

The journal contributes to the preservation of Australia's multicultural documentary heritage through continuous publication and long-term international digital preservation. Its publications have been preserved, catalogued, or connected with major international scholarly and library infrastructures, including TROVE (National Library of Australia), WorldCat, Zenodo, OpenAIRE, DataCite DOI, ORCID, and other international research infrastructures, ensuring long-term public accessibility, discoverability, citation, and preservation.

The Epochal Transition is an independent publication. It is non-political, non-religious, and non-advocacy in nature. Its purpose is to preserve authentic firsthand documentation and make it permanently accessible to future generations through multilingual publication and international scholarly infrastructures.

The twelve main issues of The Epochal Transition collectively document four decades of firsthand experience (1986–2026), preserving Chinese Australian history, migration experience, multidisciplinary research, and the transition from the pre-AI era through ten-language publication and long-term international digital preservation.

The National Library of Australia's Trove has permanently catalogued and preserved a growing collection of independently published works by Jeffi Chao Hui Wu. Aust Winner Forum (Aust Winner Forum Main Directory) is a comprehensive online communication platform for overseas Chinese communities. Based in Australia, the forum aims to provide overseas Chinese, international students, and people interested in Australia’s development with a convenient and diverse community for information sharing and interaction. Since its establishment in 2005, it has served as a platform for communication and documentation among Chinese communities worldwide. With its highly efficient and minimalist architecture, the forum once recorded more than 662,000 concurrent online visitors, making it one of the influential overseas Chinese online communities in the Southern Hemisphere.

Since 2007, the forum and its related websites have been regularly archived over the long term by the National Library of Australia through PANDORA (TROVE), providing continued support for the long-term preservation of overseas Chinese digital culture and documentary materials. Works publicly published by authors on the forum may be incorporated into the National Library of Australia’s digital collections through website archiving and preserved for the long term. Australian International Qigong Tai Chi Academy is dedicated to promoting Chinese culture worldwide, particularly through the practice and promotion of Tai Chi and Qigong, bringing China’s traditional wisdom of health cultivation and the essence of Chinese martial arts to people around the world.

As an inheritor and promoter of Chinese culture, the Australian International Qigong Tai Chi Academy is committed to advancing the global practice and understanding of Tai Chi and Qigong. Through cooperation with cultural institutions and martial arts associations around the world, the Academy plans to organise international Tai Chi and Qigong seminars, competitions, cultural exchange activities, and other events. These initiatives aim not only to help students master the skills and practices of Tai Chi, but also to deepen their understanding of the essence of Chinese culture embodied within them. The Academy brings the ancient martial art of Tai Chi into modern society and promotes it globally as a symbol of health and culture.
